- £73.5m Rotherham Sewer Overflow Reduction Programme — 27 projects reducing discharges into Rotherham's watercourses. Ward & Burke started first scheme at Lord Street (£2.3m storm overflow). 26 further projects to be allocated — active pipeline for civils, M&E and ICA contractors across Yorkshire.
- Jacobs — £32m AI Services Framework (5-year, Jun 2026–2031) (Jun 2026) — sole supply appointment for AI data services, aerial and satellite analytics, and predictive asset performance modelling across Yorkshire Water's AMP8 programme. An initial aerial mapping exercise identified over 32,000 customer misconnections — connecting surface water drainage to foul sewers — at a fraction of the cost of traditional field investigation. AI platform, data integration and geospatial analytics firms with relevant capabilities should engage Jacobs' supply chain team for sub-supply opportunities.
