2. Permitted Use
You may use Water Industry Hub for:
- Researching tender and procurement opportunities in the UK water sector
- Discovering and connecting with water sector suppliers and contractors
- Accessing intelligence articles and analysis for legitimate business purposes
- Posting genuine job vacancies on the jobs board
- Managing and updating your company's directory listing
3. Prohibited Use
You must not use Water Industry Hub to:
- Scrape or harvest data — automated extraction of directory, tender or intelligence data by any means including bots, scripts or crawlers is strictly prohibited
- Republish our content — copy, reproduce or redistribute our directory, contract intelligence or articles without express written permission
- Build competing services — use our data to populate or build a platform that competes with Water Industry Hub
- Share access — share your membership login or access credentials with others not covered by your membership
- Post false listings — submit inaccurate, misleading or fraudulent company information to the directory or jobs board
- Impersonate water companies — claim to represent a water company or regulator you are not affiliated with to obtain free access
- Spam or unsolicited contact — use contact details found on the platform to send unsolicited bulk communications
- Unlawful purposes — use the platform for any purpose that is unlawful under UK law
- Circumvent security — attempt to bypass, disable or circumvent any security measure or access control on the platform
- Interfere with the platform — introduce viruses, malware or any code that could damage, disable or impair the platform
4. Directory Listings
- You are responsible for ensuring your company's listing information is accurate and up to date
- Listings must relate to genuine UK water sector activity
- We reserve the right to remove or edit listings that do not meet our standards
- You must not list a company that has ceased trading or entered administration without notifying us
5. Jobs Board
- Job listings must be genuine, current vacancies
- Listings must comply with UK employment law including the Equality Act 2010
- We reserve the right to remove listings that are misleading, discriminatory or inappropriate
- Listings must relate to roles in or directly supporting the UK water sector
6. Enforcement
We monitor use of the platform for compliance with this policy. Breaches may result in:
- Removal of content without notice
- Suspension or termination of membership without refund
- Legal action where appropriate, including seeking injunctive relief or damages for intellectual property infringement
7. Reporting Misuse
If you become aware of misuse of the platform, please report it to info@waterindustryhub.com. We take all reports seriously.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
