Modern Slavery Statement

Water Industry Hub™ Ltd — Voluntary Statement 2026

Company: Water Industry Hub™ Ltd

Registered in: England and Wales

Statement period: Financial year ending 2026

Statement type: Voluntary — Water Industry Hub™ Ltd does not meet the £36 million annual turnover threshold that triggers a mandatory Modern Slavery Act 2015 statement. This statement is published voluntarily as a reflection of our commitment to ethical business practice.

1. Our Business

Water Industry Hub™ Ltd operates a digital intelligence and supplier discovery platform serving the UK water sector. We provide tender intelligence, a verified supplier directory, sector news and accreditation guidance to water companies, contractors and suppliers operating in the UK and Irish water markets.

Our business is small, digital-first and UK-based. We do not manufacture goods, operate physical supply chains, or employ large numbers of people. The services we provide are information-based and delivered online.

2. Our Commitment

Water Industry Hub™ Ltd is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all its business relationships. We have zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking in any form — whether in our own operations or in any supplier or partner relationship.

While the nature of our business means our exposure to the risks associated with modern slavery is low, we recognise that no business is entirely without risk and that taking a considered approach matters — both in principle and as a signal to the sector we serve.

3. Our Supply Chain

Our supply chain is simple and primarily digital:

We do not source physical goods, raw materials, or services from high-risk geographies or industries typically associated with modern slavery risk. All key suppliers are UK or EU-based businesses operating under equivalent legal frameworks.

4. Risk Assessment

We have assessed our operations and supply chain against the risk factors identified in the Modern Slavery Act 2015 guidance. Our assessment is that the risk of modern slavery in our business operations is low, for the following reasons:

5. Due Diligence

When engaging new suppliers or partners, we consider their ethical standards and reputation as part of our selection process. We expect all businesses we work with to operate with the same commitment to ethical practice.

We do not knowingly work with any individual or business that engages in, facilitates or tolerates modern slavery or human trafficking.

6. Awareness and Training

As a small business, our approach to awareness is direct and informal. All team members and contractors engaged by Water Industry Hub™ Ltd are made aware of this statement and of our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. We encourage anyone with concerns about modern slavery or human trafficking in connection with our business to raise them immediately.

7. Reporting Concerns

8. Modern Slavery in the Water Sector

The UK water sector is a significant employer of labour-intensive contractors across civil engineering, construction, maintenance and utilities. As a platform that serves this supply chain, we are conscious that modern slavery risk is a relevant consideration for the businesses we support.

Water companies and their Tier 1 contractors are increasingly required to demonstrate supply chain due diligence under the Modern Slavery Act. Accreditation schemes including Achilles UVDB require registered suppliers to have a modern slavery statement in place as part of their Silver and Silver Plus audit criteria. Our accreditation guidance reflects this — and we encourage all businesses in the water sector supply chain to take their own obligations seriously regardless of turnover threshold.

9. Review and Approval

This statement will be reviewed annually and updated to reflect any changes in our business, supply chain or the regulatory environment. It is approved by the founder of Water Industry Hub™ Ltd.
