Smart Skies, Healthy Waters — Ofwat Innovation Fund Project — Northumbrian Water-led project advancing toward deployment with drone, robotics and lab-in-a-box coastal monitoring system combining real-time environmental sensors with rapid shore-side testing. Nearly £6m in funding. Opens procurement routes for autonomous systems, rapid water testing and drone services firms.
Haskoning UK Ltd — £840,000 Nereda Technology Contract, Brasside STW (Jul 2026) — Nereda biological treatment upgrade at Brasside Wastewater Treatment Works, upgrading the SPS and STW to increase storage and treatment capacity.
