Greenwich Trunk Main — Final Phase (1km ductile iron pipeline)

Barhale awarded the final phase of the £17m Greenwich Trunk Main programme — installing the last kilometre of ductile iron pipeline to serve the growing Greenwich Peninsula. Commissioning expected May 2027. Notable for the use of ice-pigging during commissioning, saving approximately 1.8 million litres of water vs conventional flushing — a benchmark for water-efficient commissioning practice on AMP8 schemes.
