Southern Water has awarded a direct contract to Wild Capital 1 Ltd — the only national developer of high-integrity Biodiversity Net Gain offset units and Nutrient Neutrality credits — to meet Habitats Regulations requirements for the c.£1.3bn Hampshire Water Transfer & Water Recycling Project, developed jointly with Portsmouth Water. Award made on grounds of extreme and unavoidable urgency. Another sign of BNG/Nutrient Neutrality specialists becoming a fixture on major AMP8 infrastructure schemes.
