Confirmed AMP8 Framework Contractors

Affinity Water awarded its major AMP8/AMP9 capital delivery framework in October 2025. The £900m framework spans both AMP8 (2025–2030) and AMP9 (2030–2035), with approximately £450m allocated to each period. Six Tier 1 contractors hold direct agreements with Affinity Water across capital enhancement and capital maintenance lots.

AMP8 Investment Programme Overview

Affinity Water's £2.3bn AMP8 plan is the company's largest-ever investment programme. Ofwat's PR24 final determination was accepted, and shareholders injected £150m in new equity ahead of April 2026. A £350m green bond was issued in March 2025, providing strong financial headroom for the full programme.

How to Access the Affinity Water Supply Chain

Tier 1 framework positions are filled. The primary route for new suppliers is through the Tier 2 and Tier 3 supply chains of the six framework holders. Each of the Tier 1 contractors is actively building specialist subcontract supply chains for the schemes they deliver.

Relevant specialisms in demand across the Affinity Water AMP8 programme include: civils subcontracting, mechanical and electrical installation, smart meter installation, pipeline survey and inspection, environmental services and catchment management, water treatment plant works, specialist coatings and linings, and leak detection.

Supply AreaAffinity Water serves approximately 3.7 million customers across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Kent and Essex. The supply area is classified as seriously water stressed by the Environment Agency.
